S1	Proposed Study Tour to Beijing and Xian in China, departing Thursday 20 June, 2013 The Modern Languages  Department would like to offer  students in S1 the opportunity of a nine day (seven night) Study Tour  to Beijing and Xian in China, departing on 20 June, 2013 and returning 28 June, 2013.  The trip will cost £1560 per  student. If you are interested in finding out more please see Mr. Irvine ASAP and request a letter which will give more details about the trip. A deposit of £80 will be required by Friday 4th May. S3	S3 History Trenches Trip Final payment is now overdue!  Please check with Mrs Carruthers any outstanding amounts before Friday. Full payment has to be made before the end of April.
S4	S4, S5, S6 LOCKER KEYS These must be returned to the welfare office (any time of school day) before pupils go on study leave.  Lockers should be emptied before returning keys.

All years	LOST PROPERTY RECLAIM This will be on Friday 27th April at break time in the foyer. BANDS AND ARTISTS INTERESTED IN PERFORMING AT JGHS 'BATTLE OF THE BANDS' Any pupil who would like to perform at this concert after summer (re-named from 'Rock Night') must see Mrs O'Brien in the music staff base during PST today or after school. BRASS AND VIOLIN/VIOLA LESSONS IN SCHOOL Pupils are reminded that all brass and violin/viola lessons will now take place in the ICT Suite due to B20 being out of use this term. The ICT Suite can be found next t the music staff base on the second floor of Bruntsfield House. A.B. MUSIC EXAMS Pupils who have been entered for an Associated Board exam in June by their school instrumental teacher MUST bring any payment in to Mrs O'Brien in the music staff base by tomorrow (Tuesday 24th April) or they will not be entered for the exam.
