One Edinburgh, Many Cultures

This initiative is an Expressive Arts project between the Primary and Secondary schools.  Each Feeder Primary School will provide a presentation focussing on one particular expressive art which may be; music, dance, drama or art.

The Primary Schools need S6 pupils from James Gillespie’s High School to help the Primary pupils compile and rehearse their presentation for an event which will be held in JGHS on 23rd November in the school hall at 1:30pm.  Pupils will be expected to make three visits to the Primary schools to help the pupils with their project.  This would be a great initiative to be involved in and could be an additional bonus to your Personal Statement.

Could all pupils wishing to be part of this exciting initiative come to a meeting at lunchtime in B1 on Thursday 4th October.

S6: South Africa Project Céilidh Group

Could all pupils involved in the South Africa Ceilidh Group come to a meeting in B1 at the beginning of break-time on Tuesday 2nd October to discuss details for the Ceilidh Dance on the 11th October.

NB: There will be a further meeting on Wednesday 3rd October during the South Africa trip meeting at lunch-time.
