Computing, Art and CDT London Trip:
The Technologies faculty are running an education
excursion to London this coming September for S3 pupils.
Spaces are limited and priority will be given to pupils
from Computing Science, Art and CDT – any further spaces will allocated at
random to the rest of the year group.
The trip will include visits to:
Victorian and Albert Museum
Design Museum
Harry Potter Experience
London Eye Experience
The trip will take place over the holiday weekend leaving
on Sunday 20th September and returning Tuesday 22nd by
train.
Any pupil interested must collect a letter from Mr

*IMPORTANT PLEASE READ OUT TO ALL CLASSES*
Fre Exit Door Usage
Pupils must not use any of the fire exit doors
as a shortcut to exit the building both from corridors
OR from the fire staircases.
It compromises the security of the building and leaves ALL
vulnerable.
These doors are ‘silent alarmed’ and require resetting
each time they
are activated. They are for fire evacuation purposes only
Lockers
Locker forms are available from welfare, reception and
school website. Return applications to welfare office.
INSTRUMENTAL LESSONS
These have now resumed as normal in the music department.
All pupils must check their timetable for their next
lesson – timetables can be found outside the music staff base, on the door of
the instrumental teaching room and also on the school website.
EDINBURGH SCHOOLS’ ROCK ENSEMBLE
Auditions will be held next Thursday 27th August from
6.30-9.00pm at St.Thomas’ of Aquinas High School, Chalmers Street.
This is open for any pupil who plays drums, guitar, bass
guitar, vocals and keyboard.
Please just turn up at the audition if you’re interested
in joining this fantastic group.
