TOOTHBRUSHES and TOOTHPASTES APPEAL for the South Africa Trip this February 2016.
The S6 group heading to South Africa this February are looking for donations of Toothbrushes and Toothpastes to take over. During their visit to Charles Memorial primary, they hope to donate one toothbrush and toothpaste to each learner.  In the past a significant number of donations meant groups were able to provide these to the high schools in addition too. Donations can be brought to Ms I Molleson in 2.11 in the Art Dept. Thank you.

Word of the week 2K1

Word: flapdoodle (noun)

Definition: something that doesn’t make sense; a foolish person

Synonyms: nonsense, bunkum, foolish, craziness, farce, folly, idiocy, insanity, silliness

Context sentence: Whenever you talk in your sleep, you’re probably talking utter flapdoodle.

Submitted by: 2K1

Another great word from 2K1. Can anyone knock 2K1 from their perch?

Looking forward to new words this week.

M Roskilly
