S1	CHOIR REHEARSAL S1 choir rehearse every Thursday at lunchtime in S1.10 - 3 weeks left until the Christmas Concert. Junior Wind Band and Junior String Orchestra. A reminder that full attendance is required at these rehearsals or letters will be issued home for any absences.   STEM Club for s1 and s2 students will be starting on Wednesday 16th November and will run every Wednesday after school 3.45-4.30pm, in Lab 2 in science (Room 1.1) with Miss McKenna. Can all pupils that would like to be involved please come along!

All years	**NEW ITEM** CHRISTMAS APPEAL IN AID OF CHILDREN 1st We have had a fantastic response to our Christmas appeal for Children1st.  Thank-you very much for the selection boxes that you have donated so far.  Tuesday 6th December is the last day of the appeal to allow time for Children 1st to organise and distribute the selection boxes.  Please make sure any further donations are handed in by this date. Thank-you for your support,   Mrs Fallon     S1 – S5 School Year Group Photographs Orders have arrived! Pupils can collect from the Classroom Assistants Office, Bruntsfield House during break or lunchtime. Mrs Sinclair   Debating club notice: all year groups Debating continues to take place in room 1.31 every Thursday lunchtime. All pupils are very welcome and bring your lunch. No matter how experienced you are in public speaking and debating: it is a great way to develop critical thinking skills and your ability to construct an argument. Mr Roskilly Guitar Ensemble Rehearsals Pupils who learn guitar with Mr McGeary are expected to attend guitar ensemble –rehearsals in S1.09 every Tuesday after school.
