**NEW ITEM**
Request for foodbank items:

Following on from the showing of ‘I, Daniel Blake’ and the accompanying food bank collection, James Gillespie’s High School would like to hold a second collection and gather some much needed items for our local foodbank in the run up to the summer holidays.  This can be a particularly difficult time for families as they do not have access to free school meals and in many cases rely on donations made to food banks.  There will be a collection point in the school reception and a pick-up will be arranged with the Tollcross foodbank for the last week of term.  Please donate what you can.  A list of preferred items can be found below.
  • Vegetables and pulses (Tins)
  • Pasta Sauce (Jar)
  • UHT milk (Carton)
  • Cereal
  • Fruit Juice (Long Life)

3K Fun Run
If you have not handed in your sponsorship money can you please hand this into Mr Newall ASAP. If you participated in the race but did not raise any money, then a donation of £1 is expected. Anybody who hasn’t paid a sponsorship/donation will NOT be allowed to race in next year’s event.
