All years	**NEW ITEM** Manga Club I am going to start a lunchtime Manga Club for all years.  It will be at lunchtime on Wednesdays in Room 1.30.  Students can bring their lunch and spend time drawing Manga, Cartoons, designing characters and storyboards with like-minded people J Mrs Sawers SSAA SECONDARY PENTATHLON CHAMPIONSHIPS If you are interested in participating in the upcoming SSAA Secondary Pentathlon Championships can you please register your interest with Mrs Morgan in the PE Dept by FRIDAY 11th MAY.  Please note this competition is for pupils who regularly compete within athletics and have times/distances for each of the following events. The events are as follows:  Boys – Long Jump, Shot Putt, 200m, 1500m, Sprint Hurdles (Under14/15run800m)                        Girls – Long Jump, Shot Putt, High Jump, 800m, Sprint Hurdles SSAA SECONDARY TRACK AND FIELD CHAMPIONSHIPS If you are interested in participating in the upcoming SSAA Secondary Track and Field Championships can you please register your interest with Mrs Morgan in the PE Dept by TUESDAY 15th MAY.  Please note this competition is for pupils who regularly compete within athletics and have times/distances for their event/s. Ch.E.A.P.P Interested in environmental ideas?  Ch.E.A.P.P. meets every Thursday in 233. That’s Change, Equality, Animals, People & Planet! Please come along and / or bring us what we need to make a bug hotel - Broken bricks, Pinecone, Straw, Wood shavings, Tiles, Bamboo, etc. Contact – Mr Stewart WE LOVE POETRY! (S3-S6) The school has been invited to participate in the ‘Poetry by Heart’ national poetry recital competition. This involves reading poetry aloud with passion and enthusiasm. So, we will be running a group to discover, enjoy and read poetry aloud with a view to entering a team for the competition. If you like poetry and music, come along at lunchtime on Wednesdays to room 1.31. Bring your lunch. We will be supplying a broad selection of initial poems, so there is no need to bring your own poems, however, feel free to bring a favourite poem with you if you like.
