All years	**New Item** EDINBURGH/SCOTTISH SCHOOLS ATHLETICS CHAMPIONSHIPS There will be a meeting held for everyone who has entered the above championships on Wednesday 28th  May at break time in the library at Lauderdale campus.  Attendance is mandatory!  If you have not yet brought in your EE2 forms and permission slips then please bring them to the meeting on Wednesday.  Any queries about this meeting or the championships please see Miss Falconer in the PE Base.   3K Fun Run   As part of our school’s ‘Health Week’, the Health and Wellbeing working party are organising our first 3K ‘Fun Run’. This is a fundraising event for the JGHS Trust which provides support and funding for educational and extra-curricular activities within the school.   The event supports athletes of all ages and abilities and invites pupils, staff and parents to participate. The race will take place at 2.30pm on Thursday 29th May at the Meadows (start position at the whalebone arch). There will be prizes for the winners of each age category, a prize for the best ‘fancy dress’ and a special prize for the pupil who raises the most amount of money.   If you would like to participate please collect a sponsorship form and EE2 from Mr Newall and hand them back into the PE Department before Tuesday 20th May.   Lauderdale Street Site Works - Health and Safety Notice   From Wednesday 14th May there will be an increase in concrete deliveries during the day at ALL times. Please be aware of these lorries and act accordingly for your own and others safety. They will be entering the site from either Warrender Park Road or Lauderdale Street. There will be site personnel guiding the lorries on and off the site – Please do as asked by the site personnel at ALL times as it is for everyone’s safety during the construction work.     S1 – S6   Edinburgh Schools Mountain Bike Championships   Anyone interested to take part in the inaugural Edinburgh Schools Mountain Bike Championships on Sunday 15th June, at Liberton High Schools new mountain bike track, please come and pick up a flyer with entry details from the P.E.
