You will be offered four dress code options to vote for:
1.       Stay with current dress code (see “our school/documents/dress code” on the new school website for details)
2.       Uniform – polo shirt/sweatshirt style
3.       Uniform – Blazer and tie style
4.       No preference

Please take time to think about these options before Thursday’s vote – you will be able to record your opinions and ideas as well.
Parents and staff will also be surveyed and the results and final decision will be shared around Sept/October.

All years
Word of the week: 3M2

Word: Zenith (noun)
Definition: the time at which something is most powerful or successful.
Word: Zealous (adjective)
Definition: showing zeal or enthusiasm
Context: Rosie became very zealous when she reached the zenith of her life (after meeting Lori).
Two words for the price of one from 3M2. There have been some fantastic words over the year and we now have the difficult task of selecting the top three words. To help with this process it would be good if Registration teachers can put it to a vote. You can see all the words at:
Jghsliteracy.wordpress.com
Please discuss the relative merits of the words and context sentences with your classes and return your results to M Roskilly or F Kirkwood, in the English Department, by Friday 19th June.

INSTRUMENTAL LESSONS (all year groups)

Pupils must ensure that they have contacted their instrumental teacher regarding timetables for next year. This must be done before the last week of term.
Lessons are still operating up until the alternative timetable and attendance is expected at these.
Please check the timetables on the website and outside the music staff base.
