S1	**NEW ITEM** CHOIR REHEARSAL S1 choir rehearse every Thursday at lunchtime in S1.10. Final opportunity for any S1 to join choir this Thursday 10 November. 6 weeks left until the Christmas Concert.   Junior Wind Band and Junior String Orchestra.   A reminder that full attendance is required at these rehearsals or letters will be issued home for any absences.     **NEW ITEM** STEM Club for s1 and s2 students will be starting on Wednesday 16th November and will run every Wednesday after school 3.45-4.30pm, in Lab 2 in science (Room 1.1) with Miss McKenna. Can all pupils that would like to be involved please come along!

All years	**NEW ITEM** Minute silence – Friday 11 November This Friday 11 November 2016 as a school community we will observe a minute’s silence to remember victims of all conflict.  This is particularly significant as we commemorate the centenary of the First World War and while conflict still remains in Syria.  This will take place at 11.11am so classes have time to settle after break.  Please get to class as quickly as possible after the end of break.  The start and end of the minute’s silence will be indicated by tannoy.  A short poem will also be read at the end of the silence.    **NEW ITEM** Guitar Ensemble Rehearsals Pupils who learn guitar with Mr McGeary are expected to attend guitar ensemble –rehearsals in S1.09 every Tuesday after school. **NEW ITEM** LOST PROPERTY RE-CLAIM Friday 11 November at break in the Forum.
