Deadline is Friday 8th December and spaces will only be given to 20 pupils

WE LOVE POETRY! (S3-S6)
The school has been invited to participate in the ‘Poetry by Heart’ national poetry recital competition. This involves reading poetry aloud with passion and enthusiasm.
So, we will be running a group to discover, enjoy and read poetry aloud with a view to entering a team for the competition.
If you like poetry and music, come along at lunchtime on Wednesdays to room 1.31. Bring your lunch.
We will be supplying a broad selection of initial poems, so there is no need to bring your own poems, however, feel free to bring a favourite poem with you if you like.
See Mr. Roskilly or Ms. Kirkwood for further details.

CHOIR REHEARSALS
All choirs will start rehearsing for this year’s Christmas Concert at the Usher Hall on Tuesday 19 December as follows:

S1 choir:  starts Wednesday 20 September at 1.15pm in the theatre
S2/3 choir: starts Tuesday 19 September at 1.15pm in the theatre
Senior choir (S4-6): starts Wednesday 20 September at 3.45pm in the theatre

These are weekly rehearsal times and we expect all who join choirs to attend each week.
Any pupil who has missed the first rehearsal is welcome to come along and register at the next rehearsal the following week.

Please note that choirs are open to all young people with no auditions, and no previous experience required – just an enjoyment of singing!

We hope to see many of our young people involved in these, and participating in the concert!
