All years	**NEW ITEM** SPORTING CELEBRATION 2019 This year sees the return of the JGHS Sporting Celebration. An evening of awards and tributes to those involved in sport across Gillespie’s. With host Grant Stott and guest athletes Emma Hamilton, Ethan Hamilton and Damien Hoyland, the evening will be a night to remember. This year’s event will take place on Tuesday 18th June, from 6:30 in the Muriel Spark theatre. If you would like to attend, tickets are available for free from Mrs. Sinclair in the classroom assistants office. Additional tickets can also be requested for family members who wish to attend. BEACH GAMES This event is being held on Thursday 6th June at Portobello Beach. If you are interested in representing the school at this event then please sign up in the PE department ASAP. The service offers pupils; Access to a dedicated librarian on Wednesdays from 5.30 – 7.30pm and Fridays from 2 - 4pm to provide expert help in searching for resources off and online. Reserved tables at the dedicated supports times A quiet space to study Possibility to book the acoustic pod for small group work and discussion Stationary to use in the library *There is no need for pupils to be a member of the library or book in advance, they can simply show up and speak to a member of staff J *Pupils are welcome to use Central Library outside these dedicated support times.
