LIBRARY NEWS - Escape, Connect, Relate
This is a new collection with lots of books covering areas such as bullying, bereavement, sexuality and moreJ.  There are some really good non-fiction titles as well.
We have a display on at the moment – if you’re looking for books that deal with a particular issue, come and have a browse and speak to Mrs Brown and Ms Adenekan.  Ask us questions or make recommendations!
There is also a Readaxation group in the library on Thursdays – please come and speak to us to find out more. Leah Bartlett and Aimee Ma are our pupil ambassadors for this project – you can speak to them too.

SPORTING CELEBRATION 2019
This year sees the return of the JGHS Sporting Celebration. An evening of awards and tributes to those involved in sport across Gillespie’s. With host Grant Stott and guest athletes Emma Hamilton, Ethan Hamilton and Damien Hoyland, the evening will be a night to remember.

This year’s event will take place on Tuesday 18th June, from 6:30 in the Muriel Spark theatre.

If you would like to attend, tickets are available for free from Mrs. Sinclair in the classroom assistants office. Additional tickets can also be requested for family members who wish to attend.
