S1	** New Item**   KYI pupils   All KYI pupils in S1 who wish to audition for instrumental lessons should hand their forms to their class teacher and an appropriate meeting will be arranged after their residential on the 1st -3rd September.   Thanks,   Rachel   Book Festival   Those who are signed up for Thursday’s trip to the book festival, must go to the English department immediately after period 2 (at the very start of break) to be registered and organised into groups with their responsible member of staff.   Pupils are strongly advised to bring something to eat and drink with them as we are expected to return to Gillespie’s towards the end of lunchtime, it will not be possible to stop for pupils to go into shops for food.   Many thanks,   Mr Watt   Brass Lessons S1 pupils who attended brass lessons at Primary School should attend a short meeting on Friday 22nd August at break time in B20 (Top floor of Bruntsfield House)   Thanks Rachel
