Can all class reps for the senior school attend the Meeting room at Darroch, period 3

Instrumental Parent's Evening: 3rd and 5th February: Book an appointment ASAP

 
To book an appointment please log onto the new school website (www.jamesgillespies.co.uk) and fill in the google spreadsheet via the link:
Please note that Mr Rankin (Percussion), Ms Petersen (clarsach), Mrs Collin (clarsach) and Miss Barry (vocal) are unavailable on Thursday and have made alternative arrangements to meet with parents on Tuesday 3rd February from 4.30 – 5.30pm.
Meetings with instrumental staff will take place in the dining centre (at Lauderdale Street).
If your parents are unable to fill in the online appointment sheet, please get in contact with the music department and we can arrange an appointment.
 

HPV Immunisations
 
Tuesday 3rd February in rooms S1 and S2 on the Lauderdale site. Any enquiries should be directed to the Welfare office.

Shinty is on after school - Monday 2 Feb at 3.45 at the Thirlestane Astroturf.

S6 South Africa Group

The S6 South Africa Group are putting on a ‘Take Me Out’ and ‘Would I Lie To You’ show on Monday 2 February. Tickets cost £4 and will be sold in the Warrender foyer at lunchtime. S6 pupils will also visit classrooms to sell tickets.

South Africa Project:
 
We are still appealing for any final donations to take over to our partner schools and charities in South Africa. We are focusing on the following items, but high quality donations of other items are also welcome!
  • Primary School Shoes (preferably black. We are trying to provide every child at Charles Memorial Primary School with a pair of shoes)
  • Dresses (for secondary pupils)
  • Football Shirts (For secondary pupils)
  • Sportswear (e.g. shorts, shin pads, football boots etc)
  • Toothbrushes and toothpaste
Donations can be dropped off with Miss Grant in room G8 at Darroch, or Miss Gray in room S6 at Lauderdale.

ALL PUPILS
All pupils that have an instrumental lesson at 8.50am MUST report to the office at the bottom of Bruntsfield House to register they are present.  Absence calls will go home to parents if pupils do not register.
